Request received (demo)

This is a sample site, so nothing was sent. On a real client site, this request goes straight to the owner’s inbox, labeled water-heater-installation, so they know exactly which page it came from.

Tank or tankless?

Both are good choices. The right one depends on your home, how much hot water you use, and your budget.

Tank water heaters cost less up front, are quick to replace, and work well for most families. A 40–50 gallon tank covers a typical 3–4 bedroom home.

Tankless water heaters heat water on demand, so you don’t run out during back-to-back showers. They cost more to install but take up less space and usually last longer.

We’ll look at your gas line, venting and water use and tell you honestly which makes sense.

Signs it’s time to replace

  • It’s more than 10–12 years old
  • Rusty or discolored hot water
  • Water pooling around the base of the tank
  • Loud rumbling or popping when it heats
  • You’ve paid for repairs more than once this year

Water Heater Installation questions

How long does a water heater installation take?

Most tank replacements take 3 to 5 hours. Switching to tankless usually takes most of a day because the gas line and venting often need changes.

What size water heater do I need?

Most 3–4 bedroom homes do well with a 40–50 gallon tank. Larger families or homes with big soaking tubs may need 75 gallons or a tankless unit. We size it during the free estimate.

Do you haul away my old water heater?

Yes. Removal and disposal of the old unit is included in every installation quote.

Do I need a permit to replace a water heater?

In most Houston-area cities, yes. We pull the permit and schedule the inspection for you, and it’s included in the price.
